Mary Lorraine Mc Hugh is an environmental storyteller. I was a teacher of art at secondary school level and proceeded onto community art. I was resident artist at Ruskin College Oxford, and was the only woman whose work was exhibited in the Upper Gallery of the House of Commons London, in a mining drawings exhibition. I have worked with irish travellers and children, producing a piece of artwork presented to the president of Ireland. I am a member of the Derry Playhouse Writers and also a member of the Irish Story Tellers Association based at the Verbal Arts Centre Derry, N.Ireland in which wordl famous story teller, Liz Weir is the Chairperson. I have also had art exhibitions in the UK and Germany.
Over the last five years i have concentrated mainly on my storytelling skills but also have work in progress around the area of meditations for children.
