Glencolumbcille, in a spectacular coastal location on the south-west tip of Donegal, is an Irishspeaking area which has a reputation for expertise in knitwear.

And it’s from here that the post van heads up along the mountain road with packages from Kelly Knitwear, bound for destinations around the world.

Thomas and Carmel Kelly set up the business in 1999, and they make the highly-popular ‘Little Bratz Knitwear’ range for kids and ‘The Sarah McGuire Collection’ for adults. The entire range, including cardigans, sweaters, hats and scarves, is hand-loomed from 100% new wool, and hand-finished to the highest standard.
