Laurence McGonagle is a retired joiner from Moville, Inishowen, who took up painting around five years ago after attending art classes at Serenity House in the town. He is married to Margaret and has four grown up daughters and eight grandchildren.

He has always had an interest in art and was keen to explore his creative flair with a paintbrush and easel. His paintings are mostly in watercolours and oils and depict landscape scenes of his beloved inishowen and Donegal

Laurence has enjoyed success when he has exhibited his work at a number of local exhibitions and craft fairs.
