Movania and Aine first opened their craft shop Meany Mays in 2002, their aim was to design handmade products together with a co-op of other artists and crafts people using Irish made materials together with fresh new ideas.
Movania uses the softest of leathers in beautiful colours to create handmade one of a kind leather handbags she combines antique and retro fabrics, clasps, buckles, buttons and glass beads to create unique designs that you just can't buy on the high street.
Aine creates beautiful pieces of jewellery using pieces of glass shaped by the sea and picked off the shores of Donegal, she hand paints the glass to create unique pretty pendants.
Meany Mays gallery has a number of artists with diverse styles, all the artists are living in Donegal and some of the paintings depict some of the beautiful scenery found here in Donegal, the honey pot of Ireland.
